Transaction Analysis

As previously noted by Bryan, 1 Manning 1 Desire and PromNiteDumpsterBaby struck the first deal of the Sandwich Fest season.  1M1D acquired Andrew Luck for RB Alfred Morris.

For me, after the draft, I was disappointed not to get a good QB2 for my flex spot.  It turned out to do so, I would've needed to use my fourth round pick.  In this case, that was Alf Morris.

Brown, was depleted at RB to begin with then had that debacle of a Sunday Night for David Wilson, which I pretty much knew would probably get me Luck.  Wilson's playing time will go down immeasurably (maybe someone could measure it) so Brown will get a very solid RB2.   Morris was a little shaky to start the game yesterday, but he's clearly their #1.

I'm now in Brown's position.  A fragile #1RB (Jamaal Charles) and two unproven rookies behind that.  But, I'll have two QBs that should get me plenty of points and will look for Lamar Miller or Gio Bernard to come through for me.

A nice fair trade all around.  Good work Brown.

  1. classic trade r@ping going on here....unbelievable giving up a QB like luck for a borderline top 10 RB? Brown you should shop around a little (and im not saying me) and see whats out there, it was the beginning of the week. Plenty of time to pull the trigger

I guess this is why paul never got a Monday implications out, he was too busy pressuring Brown into this unbalanced trade.
