CHAMPIONSHIP WEEK: 'Came'-ron yo face!/Dez Nutz

We reviewed how Mike got to the finals, now let's take Chris.  His season was a pretty smooth ride with only drama being whether he'd get the bye or not.  Now the questions is, can he be first to get his name on this bad boy for a 2nd time:

Week 1 was a good start for Hill.  A very good point total and a win set the tone for his season.  It's clear that every player on his roster is an integral part of his teams offense. 1-0.

Chris's season would get evened up in Week 2.  This is where we start to see Ray Rice struggle and Chris struggle with his flex spot (non QB flex is not good).  Still a respectable score in a loss.  1-1.

Two tough matches in a row and Hill managed a split to get himself to 2-1.  Cracks 180 points and takes down Flames.  Reggie Bush missed this week for Hemrick, which helped Hill, but 188 points it tough to beat.  Note Jay Cutler makes his first appearance and Jordan Cameron rises (briefly) to prominence.

In a championship preview, Hill's roster comes thru again, scoring over 180 points in consecutive weeks.  Cameron forces a name change from Dez Nuts to that disaster Hill's team is named currently.  Ray Rice hurt his hip and dropped to #3 in Hills RB hierarchy of Forte, Murray and Rice.  The WRs are Hill's strongest standard, regularly topping 60 points between the three.  3-1.

Haha, Brian Hoyer.  Remember him?  He broke his leg on the first drive in this game and almost cost Hill.  But no bother, Rice came thru in the flex and amazingly, Hakeem Nicks, a bye week fill in, had his only good game of the year.  4-1.

Mike Mintz Award here.  75 points Scott?  Damn.  5-1.

The point totals are dropping but the wins just keep on coming.  The Cut got -6, but Forte carried the Bears and almost hit 40.  In a subtle, but solid move to solidify his roster, Hill picks up the leagues #2 defense, Carolina.  6-1.

MIKE JAMES!!!!!!! Again bye weeks effect the roster and points and this time, despite triple threat Mike James, Hill's 4 game winning streak comes to an end.  Notable here is RGIII getting only 2 points, finally causing Hill to give up on him.  He was in RB hell this week, as noted by the Chris Ivory start.  6-2.

This would be Hill's 2nd loss in a row and again a low point total.  Welker was on bye, and Hill's fill in, Nate Wash, scored as many points as Welker.  The bloom also came off the Jordan Cameron rose, but we still couldn't convince Hill to change that awful name.   Note the flex spot though as Chris made a trade this week, sending Rice and RGIII to me for Luck and Bernard. 6-3.

This would be the low point of the season for Chris.  Down 3 straight now, and out of bye position at 6-4.  Bry has now caught him in points and Hemrick is making a move past him.  He fails to crack 100 in this match as Hill turned to Jake Locker who sucked and then got hurt. 6-4.

A week Hill needed as he was close to being on tilt here.  A very solid score and perhaps a find in Mike Glennon, who finally provided him some much needed QB2 production.  7-4.

And finally the game that helped him stay in contention for a bye.  Going against the first place team who had been on fire, Hill catches a break as Stafford struggled and Denver had a tough game at New England.  Luck, Welker and again, Jordan Cameron, also had tough games but the rest did enough to win.  8-4.

While Hill was laying the smackdown on Mike, The Commish was beating Bry to drop him out of a bye and put Chris in.  While there's some concern over Welker's health and Cameron's production, Chris' move to Josh McCown was a solid on and his running backs, and other WRs showed they would be a formidable opponent in the playoffs.  9-4.

After his bye, Hill cheated his way to a hard fought win when an illegal block sprunk Antonio Brown on a 60-yard punt return TD.  The Cut returns to the lineup and although he struggled early, made some big plays to drive his point total up.

Aside from WR3 spot, where a decision needs to be made btwn Patterson and Welker, this team is healthy and productive and ready for the finals.
