Response i got from a trade offer in other league
I tried to trade this guy who has no TE, Jordan cameron for Victor cruz and this is the response he sends me -
Hey man, you see the point differential right?....Hilarious. I know we aren't familiar with each other so don't take this personally, but why do you think this trade would work for me? It's borderline insulting....haha. Is this an offer you would accept had it been given to you? Don't tell me yes. I don't care what a person's TE situation is. I have no problem making deals, let's just make offers that are on the level to save time. Cool?
I try to give him the 2nd coming of james graham and he insults me like that

Power Rankings Revisited
As of Sept 3rd, the Power Rankings as I saw it were:
Tier 1: Bryan, Hill, Scott, James
Tier 2: Paul, Joe, Brown
Tier 3: Mintz, Hemrick, Sean/Matt
As of Oct 9th:
Bryan - WR are still kind of week despite attempts to trade up and Cam has not been very Cam-like. Consistency in overall scoring here has been the key though - over 150pts every week - a team full of #2's (except AP). good match up this week with sean/matt without his top two dogs.
Sean/Matt - i was clearly wrong about his team. one or both of them are managing the team well and taking advantage of good matchups. phil rivers acting like his old self has really bolstered his TE position as vernon davis has not benefitted from a slacking capernick.
Tier 2:
Scott - QB and RB troubles here and no kick-return all-stars this year (shocked you not picked up Travis Benjamin). WR is in great shape. needs kapernick and martin to act like they're supposed to and he'll be fine - may be a tough matchup against hill this week (beware - hill loves your team name)
Paul - JC: "Hi Peyton" PM: "Oh, Hi Jamaal." JC:"Hey. Do you know anyone else on this team?" PM: "Yes Jamaal - Deymarius is right over there" JC: "Oh yeah. That's it though, isn't it?" PM: "Yup."
James - Draft the right team - sit back - and let the magic work itself. It's a strategy James employs well. Despite scoring no points ever he's managed to hang around in the middle of the pack. James seems to have a squad which is solidly mediocre and probably (i mean definitely) won't change much.
Joe - I actually like Joe's team. and Joe. He's a nice guy. stay strong there lil' buddy.
Brown - Team is drastically improved after an incredible trade with me. He should skyrocket the ranks shortly. His QB's need to step it up and his RBs are questionable - hopefully for Alf his ribs feel better and he'll pick it up for the rest of the season.
Tier 3:
Mintz - Rivers' resurgence will help here - with a healthy squad of RB's Mintz's team could make a comeback.
Hemrick - Hemrick's team had a huge week. i don't expect this to be the norm. if the broncos ever slow down - he's in trouble. if they continue to be awesome - he'll just need a little more luck to move up the ranks.
If you don't agree - I don't care.

Tier 2: Paul, Joe, Brown
Tier 3: Mintz, Hemrick, Sean/Matt
So far i don't think it's all that inaccurate; maybe a few changes:
As of Oct 9th:
Tier 1:
Hill - as much as we want too, you can't ignore the top scorer in the league. pretty good bench should keep him towards the top despite liking it in the bottom.

Week 5 Recap
We're not five weeks in and it's close to panic time for some teams, while two teams are sitting pretty at 4-1.
What you see in James' lineup will remain James' lineup pending byes. No pickups, no trades, no comments, just plug, play, repeat. It's kind a dead spot in the league right now. He's 3-2 by luck, and is the only team not to crack 700 points yet. It's a shame that he chooses not to participate in the Greatest League In The World. Consider this public shaming your punishment sir.
Joe's hit or miss bunch was a miss this week, paving the way for Bry to stroll to an easy win and a 4-1 record. This puts Bry, who is third in overall points, into 2nd place at 4-1. He can pretty much thank Rony Tomo and his 50-point effort because no one else really did anything. Kid has no QB, his WR's were hurt by Garcon's bye, not sure what's going on with Sproles, and he wins no problem. Charmed life this kid is living.
The On-Paper All-Stars aka The Holo What? couldn't get going this week. Just wait till next week though, because they're due for another 200 point effort.
I know I lament my luck in this league but Brown is right there with me. My points against: 934.35. Browns: 915.24. The next closest: 797.61. That's over 20 points more per week getting scored against Brown and myself than everyone else. And while Brown had no shot this week, it still is worth noting that he's in the same hell as the commish. I'm sure he's noticed.
Lace Face (owned by Hill or Matt/Sean.....) had another great week with the Eagles, Rams, Browns and Chargers all having good matchups. Things will get a little more difficult with Julio out, and Matt Ryan losing his two top weapons (Roddy got hurt too), but they have depth at WR and Jackson is playing like a #1 anyway. #2 in points in the league and should easily make the playoffs still.
This is the kind of match that Brown and I look at and say, why can't that happen to us? One time please? Scott out Mintz'd Mintz for the win. It's lunch time and this match sucked, so I'm going to just move on...
Speaking of sucking. Megatron is out? No problem, here comes the TY Hilton breakout. And he starts a player on the Jags and gets rewarded? How does that happen? Oh well, that's what happens I guess. Would've been nice if Peyton Manning had a D. Thomas game instead of a J. Thomas game. It's a big win for Hemrick to get him back in the points race and playoff race.

Sandwich Fest Injury Report: Julio Jones
Breaking news from Fox Sports' Jay Glazer:
Breaking: Falcons fear Julio Jones likely OUT for the rest of the year w a foot injury. He's getting a second opinion tomorrow to determine
— Jay Glazer (@JayGlazer) October 8, 2013
It appears to be the dreaded Lis Franc injury. This is a big blow to a Lacey In Your Facey if Glazer turns out to be right. First, they have their name stolen, now, their #1 WR is on the shelf.
Facey was poised to make a deep playoff run, but now will be hoping Josh Gordon and Desean Jackson continue to come through, and that Amendola can stay healthy. They do have the depth to make a deal if necessary thanks to a plethora of running backs (McCoy, Lacey, Joique Store, Le'e'bve'on Bel'l, and Ridley -ew).
Hopefully for their sake, Julio gets good news on that 2nd opinion.
Chris Hill: Plagiarist
Below, is a snippet of a Yahoo! Fantasy Football recap from a different league. See if you notice anything familiar about something in that recap.
Los
Pantalones Sucio logged the highest point total this week on the way to their
third consecutive win when they beat Kirp shit his pants 171.66 - 140.50 in a
Sunday night comeback. Since the streak started in Week 3, Los Pantalones Sucio
has moved from eighth place to claim the top spot in the league. They also have
the highest scoring output in the league at 156.73 points per matchup. Kirp
shit his pants falls to third place with a 3-2 record. Los Pantalones Sucio has
now steamrolled Lace in your Face (154.44 - 127.40) and The Golden Fumblers
(153.68 - 124.22).
Hmmm...it seems as though they have a similarly named team in that league. But how could that happen. Is there an owner in both Sandwich Fest, and that league? Surely if there was the only owner in both leagues would not steal someone else's name....would they?

Monday Implications
Well, there aren't any. So this seemed like a good week to make sure I got this post up. It's like a freebie.
Technically, I'm still alive, down 40 with the Atlanta defense. If they pitch a shutout, I'd only need them to get three pick sixes, 5 sacks, and a safety. So fingers crossed....
Also, everyone is available on my team. Just a side note.

Transaction Analysis
We have a trade to announce:
To Bry: Steve Smith and David Wilson
To Brown: Julien Edelmen and Fred Jackson
This is basically a trade of high upside but high risk vs. steady production and low risk. Brown gets Edelman, who even with Amendola back, should still be a big part of the Pats offense. He won't make big plays, but we know he's good for 5-8 catches. Same with Fred Jackson. He's getting about half the work when Spiller is healthy and is producing better than Spiller. Jackson does come with a little risk, because Spiller is more talented and younger. If Spiller starts playing well, Jackson could see his touches reduced dramatically.
Bry trades in the 5-8 catches for 50-70 yards from Edelman for the potential big play from Steve Smith. He's a beast, but he's old and his QB isn't playing that well. But there's always the chance Smith catches an 80 yard TD, taking the ball away from two defenders.
Wilson is interesting b/c with the Giants sucking a dick, there's no reason to worry about his fumbles anymore. They might as well play him and see what they really have. If he's as talented as we all think, Bry might have gotten a steal here. Or he may never produce behind a battered O-line. But I think it's a gamble worth taking for Bry, who can't stop tinkering with his team.
Solid trade all around. Good luck to both of you....I hope they all get injured.
