DRAFT ORDER 2014 II: The Quest For A Large Sandwich That's Actually A Poorly-Named Trophy
The draft order is now complete.
REMINDER: The draft will take place on Friday, 8/29/14 at 8pm. Please don't forget.
Here was the order before the order after the picks before the picks:
1. Bryan Cox
2. Adam Brown
3. Paul Cipriano
4. Chris Hill
5. Ryan Hemrick
6. Joseph Ferencz
7. Michael J. Mintz
8. James Joseph Guerriero
9. Matt Ficeto/Sean Wachter
10. Scott Giaimo
And here is the order for the draft on the 29th.
1. Paul Cipriano
2. Adam Brown
3. Ryan Hemrick
4. Matt Ficeto/Sean Wachter
5. Scott Giaimo
6. Michael J. Mintz
7. James Guerriero
8. Joseph Ferencz
9. Chris Hill
10. Bryan Cox
Bry and Hill both chose to head to the back end of the first round. It's a sound strategy but this year, I'm happy to have my pick of Lesean McCoy or Jamaal Charles or Peyton Manning. I'm not sure why Brown didn't just take #1..maybe he couldn't handle the pressure? Hemrick decided to take #3 and have his shot at one of the 3 best RBs or Manning and get a better player on the way back. Matt/Sean and Scott in an unexpected twist, could wind up with Adrian Peterson or Matt Forte and all while having the last choices.
Let the games begin. I'm officially on the clock. If you haven't signed up for the league yet please do so soon. I just resent the invitation to those still pending.

DRAFT ORDER 2014
Well it's not really the draft order per se. It's actually the order before the draft order that allows you to choose where you want to your draft order to be.
In rather unceremonious fashion (still getting league headquarters up to par for draft night) Chris Hill and I picked the order.
To do this, we tore up ten pieces of paper, all of similar size. We then wrote the names of each league member down on these pieces of paper (one name per piece except for Matt/Sean) then folded those pieces of paper so the names were not visible. We then placed those ten pieces of paper into a red solo cup. This cup was then shaken, and a name was picked out. That selection is #10 in the order and gets no choice of where to draft.
The order is as follows:
1. Bryan Cox
2. Adam Brown
3. Paul Cipriano
4. Chris Hill
5. Ryan Hemrick
6. Joseph Ferencz
7. Michael J. Mintz
8. James Joseph Guerriero
9. Matt Ficeto/Sean Wachter
10. Scott Giaimo
Mike Mintz is in Mexico through the weekend, so he may not be able to choose his spot until then. But we'll get the first 6 guys to pick today hopefully and you'll have a basic idea of where you stand.
Mr. Cox, please send me an email with where you would like to draft.
We did not record the Draft Order Before The Draft Order Selection Show so here's a gif from Sharknado, because all the kids are doing it.

Is This Thing On?
Hello? Anyone here? You guys wanna play some fantasy football this year? I was thinking about getting this league going. It's going to be the greatest league that was ever created by man. Is that something you would be interested in? C'mon, all the kids are doing it. Kids love fantasy football, the pot, and I'm told, this:
Draft order will be decided on Thursday evening. Some draft previews will follow.

CHAMPIONSHIP WEEK: The Match-up Breakdown
We're only two days away from The Big Game. Ahead of this weeks match up, let's take a look position by position at who may have the edge on Championship Sunday and who may be hoisting El Grande Sandwich, when all is said and done:

CHAMPIONSHIP WEEK: 'Came'-ron yo face!/Dez Nutz
We reviewed how Mike got to the finals, now let's take Chris. His season was a pretty smooth ride with only drama being whether he'd get the bye or not. Now the questions is, can he be first to get his name on this bad boy for a 2nd time:
CHAMPIONSHIP WEEK: Red Headed Step Child
Despite a draft that yielded jack and crap in the first two rounds, Mike Mintz finds himself one win away from hoisting this bad boy:
Let's see how Mintz got here:

This Should Make Matt/Sean Feel Better
Don't worry guys, the NFL has said the hit on the Bengals punter that broke his jaw was illegal!
That fixes everything!!!
Wait, no it doesn't. But at least you can say you should've been in the finals.
